SHARE LEARNING TOGETHER

Learning happens at anytime and anywhere and it is well known that children make much better progress in school if their learning is supported by parents and families at home.
The school is always ready to support parents and carers in getting involved with their child's learning and SHARE is one of the ways in which we do so.

The SHARE family learning programme uses a very practical hands-on approach and all you need is enthusiasm and an hour a week.

SHARE update 7th December 2009

Another set of SHARE sessions have been and gone, thank you to all who came along. I hope you enjoyed the sessions as much as Michele and I.

Here are some more photos including a 'shared' cooking session with the children. It was a great session which both children and adults enjoyed. It was brilliant to see a shared activity taking place and not only did we make lots of biscuits for the Winter Fayre but fun was had by all.

I hope that this is the start of shared activities taking place in school, so please return those feedback sheets telling us how you would like SHARE to continue.
